Back where she belongs: Venus wins 4th Wimbledon

When Venus Williams won her fourth Grand Slam title at the '02 US Open as a 22-year-old, it was thought that she was a near automatic to sweetly swing her way into the double digits of major titles.

But few suspected that she'd have to encounter one debilitating injury after another. Since then, she's won only 14 of her 35 titles. But, by the way, two of them have been majors at the locale she has all but owned this century, Wimbledon.

In another powerfully stunning second-week run through an elite field, Venus out-muscled Marion Bartoli, 6-4, 6-1 in the Wimbledon final, capping off an incredible last four matches where she didn't drop a set and torched Maria Sharapova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanovic and then the field-wrecking Bartoli
